VECTORsgi Names Mark Alexander, Vice President and CFO

Finance veteran joins expanding executive team

VECTORsgi, a leading provider of financial transaction applications, has named Mark Alexander Vice President and Chief Financial Officer (CFO).  With more than 25 years of financial leadership experience, Alexander will help grow and further strengthen VECTORsgi’s financial and market position.
“Mark brings a wealth of knowledge and proven skills to our team with his strong background in finance and technology as well as marketing,” said Sydney Smith Hicks, President of VECTORsgi.  “He understands our goal to remain an innovative leader in the check imaging industry.  His dedication to success complements the company’s commitment to our customers and our owners while building on our company’s position as a provider of high image quality and forward-looking solutions for payment processing.”
Throughout his career, Alexander has been integral in growing the financial strength of a company. Prior to joining VECTORsgi, Alexander was the Senior Vice President of Finance and Business Management for the Carreker Corporation’s Global Payments Technology Group.  Additionally, he was Senior Vice President and Internal CFO of TrinTel Communications, where he restructured the firm’s financial position.  Alexander also spent 17 years with Sterling Software and Sterling Commerce.  During his tenure, organic and acquisition-based growth propelled the company from a startup to a global corporation.  Alexander was a core team member in the initial public offering of Sterling Software and Sterling Commerce.
“VECTORsgi continues to demonstrate its growing market share through strong sales and expanding solutions,” Alexander said.  “The company has a well-deserved reputation for innovative imaging solutions.  I look forward to contributing to this dynamic group.” “The many benefits of Check 21 have staged the market for continued growth in software sales,” Hicks said. “The company’s expansion is a direct response to steadily increasing business demands.”
